Editions are sent in HTML format best compressed in order to reduce the downloading time. It is possible to read them in any Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator etc.).

In case that the vessel's computer does not have browser, Global News will supply with appropriate software (free of charge) and instructions manual as well.

If the vessel's computer is equipped with Adobe Acrobat Reader, Global News can send you edition in appropriate (pdf) format to avoid installation of additional software.

Downloading time with INMARSAT A or B will be about 10 seconds per edition.

In case that the vessel's satellite connection is INMARSAT C or MINI M, Global News have news in text format or HTML concise editions, which are easier for downloading.

Transmission of the news will be done on a daily basis.
